Caring for your Lily & Kate Jewellery 

Lily & Kate Jewellery is handmade in Sydney, Australia. The pieces are made to be worn every day, but they are delicate and need to be treated with love.

Materials

We only use high quality metals like 14k gold filled and sterling silver. 

14k gold filled is tarnish and water resistant, and long lasting. It's the best option after solid gold for quality and durability.

Unlike gold plated or vermeil, gold filled has multiple layers of solid gold, which are pressure bonded to a core of high quality brass, using extreme heat. The result is a thick later of real gold (about 5% of the total weight), making it much more durable.

 

 

Product Care

To ensure your jewellery lasts as long as possible, we recommend the following;
- Minimise contact with creams and perfumes
- Remove jewellery before showering, swimming and exercise
- Clean the pieces with a jewellery polishing cloth
- Store the pieces separately in the pouch to avoid scratches from friction
- Keep the jewellery dry in a cool place and out of direct sunlight
