Caring for your Lily & Kate Jewellery 

Lily & Kate Jewellery is handmade in Sydney, Australia. The pieces are made to be worn every day, but they are delicate and need to be treated with love.

Materials

We only use high quality metals like 14k gold filled and sterling silver. 14k gold filled is your best option after solid gold for quality and durability. The material is made by joining a base metal with outer layers of real gold. It has a thicker outer layer of gold (about 5% of the total weight) and more gold content than gold plating. Therefore is more durable than gold plating and gold vermeil.

 

Product Care

To ensure your jewellery lasts as long as possible, we recommend the following;
- Minimise contact with creams and perfumes
- Remove jewellery before showering, swimming and exercise
- Clean the pieces with a jewellery polishing cloth
- Store the pieces separately in the pouch to avoid scratches from friction
- Keep the jewellery dry in a cool place and out of direct sunlight
